In ‘58 Steinbeck received the letter from his eldest son, Thom, who was attending boarding school. In it, the teenager spoke of Susan, a young girl with whom he believed he had fallen in love.

20 resolutions for 20-somethings →
still in the midst of creating my own set of goals for this year, but this list should suffice for the time being. i’m going to pay special attention to #s 9 and 13, and pretty much live by #19 as my mantra for 2012.

feeling inspired
i don’t know why i let certain things influence my way of thinking so much, i.e. ringing in a new year - but i definitely feel more inspired and energized than i did a few days ago! currently in denial that i’ll be back to the daily grind tomorrow, but feeling rather smiley as a result of all this inspiration shizz.
