spent the evening with my mom, sitting on my bed looking at photo albums from twenty years ago. god, was i an ugly kid. my mom was beautiful, though. there was one picture of me and my cousins smiling and shrieking of giddiness as we blew huge bubbles into the air. and at that moment, at least for a brief second, i remembered what it felt like to be carefree…
